Raise your hand if you couldn't get enough of Sweet Home Alabama starring Reese Witherspoon, Patrick Dempsey, and Josh Lucas. Yeah, me either. Remember that ridiculously romantic and over-the-top scene when Dempsey's character, Andrew, proposes to Witherspoon's character, Melanie, at Tiffany's? Immediately, it became how a lot of fans wanted their proposals to happen. Well, Witherspoon just relieved the Tiffany's moment in real life and shared it with everyone on Twitter.
As you can see in the photo below, Witherspoon looks shocked as someone who I assume is a Tiffany's employee "pops the question." The caption reads: "Um. @TiffanyAndCo just surprised me with a #SweetHomeAlabama moment in NYC??!!! Where magical moments happen!"
Of course, she's not really being proposed to, because Witherspoon is married to Jim Toth, but I have no clue if Tiffany's relly did shut down its store for the actress. Hey, it's a possibility, because she's Reese Witherspoon. Whatever the case, spending your day in Tiffany's looking at fancy and expensive jewelry can't be all that bad. Plus, having the chance to relive a huge scene from one of your most popular romantic comedies is pretty spectacular. Who doesn't wish they were Witherspoon in this very moment?
Well, actually, I don't, because Patrick Dempsey is missing. As amazing as it is to see this Sweet Home Alabama scene recreated in real life, it would've been that much better if Dempsey appeared and surprised Witherspoon. Who's with me? Until then, I guess we're stuck with watching the scene on repeat.
