How To Nail Gigi Hadid's Coachella Look

I envy those of you on the West Coast anywhere near Coachella right now. New York is just barely beginning to feel like spring, so I have been thinking sunny thoughts as I scroll through my Instagram feed, drooling over all of the fabulous festival wear sported by the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Sarah Hyland, Kate Bosworth, Bella Thorne, Kendall Jenner, and, of course, Gigi Hadid. If you're one of the lucky ones headed to Coachella weekend 2 and are wondering what to wear, I have two words: Gigi Hadid. Hadid attended the festival arm-in-arm with boyfriend Cody Simpson and sister Alli Simpson, and the gorgeous model looked totally in her element.

Naturally, everyone looked incredible in their bohemian-inspired summery styles, but none were as creative as Gigi Hadid. The model-of-the-moment was clad in the usual Coachella uniform: cut-off shorts, booties, peasant blouses, fringe jackets, and maxi dresses. However, there were very specific details about her looks that really made it all pop. Gigi Hadid always has great style but her Coachella looks really showed off her unique sense in fashion. Whether you are attending the upcoming second weekend of Coachella or simply willing it to be July already, Hadid has got some great hacks to enhance your spring and summer style.

1. Wear A Collar Necklace As A Belt

2. Sport Faux Pearls On Your Face

Gigi looked amazing with these pearl embellishments placed on her forehead to enhance the gorgeous shape of her eyebrows. For a second, I thought she had accomplished this with white eyeliner but if you look closely, you'll see these pretty dots are three dimensional. You can buy flat back pearls and use eyelash glue to adhere them to your forehead just like Gigi.

3. Consider A DIY Maxi Dress

In this caption for the picture posted on Instagram yesterday, Hadid says that she cut the sleeves off her Guess maxi dress due to the heat. I am not experienced in DIY and I can imagine that it might be difficult to attempt, but if she can do it, so can you!
