'Pitch Perfect 2' Looks — Well, Perfect

There are a lot of reasons to watch the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, but the main reason I'm tuning in on Sunday night: The Pitch Perfect cast. During the show, the cast — including Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, and franchise newcomer Hailee Steinfeld — will be reuniting to promote Pitch Perfect 2 , and to share a brand new clip from the movie. Considering that many of us have been waiting on the edge of our seats for the sequel from the minute the credits rolled on the first Pitch Perfect, this is obviously a highly anticipated moment — and after seeing the trailer for the sequel, my standards are pretty high. So what's the verdict? The Pitch Perfect 2 clip at the MTV Movie Awards was amazing — mainly because it managed to combine all the best things from the original movie.

After a hilarious bit from Wilson while the Pitch Perfect clip was introduced, the actual clip rolled — and needless to say, I'm already in love. There's a face-off between the Bellas and a European group (which includes one of my personal favorite YouTubers ever, Flula Borg) — and a brand new mashup of '90s hip-hop hits, which is basically everyone's favorite genre of music. The duel flawlessly combines Montell Jordan's "This is How We Do It," Lauryn Hill's "That Thing," and Bell Biv Davoe's "Poison," in the clip, making for a performance that has me even more excited for the movie's release.

Now that we've seen this clip? I think it's safe to say that if you're worried Pitch Perfect 2 won't live up to the original, rest assured that it'll be OK. Is it May 15 yet?
