Julianne Got A Candy-Colored Hair Makeover

We all know spring means pastels, but apparently, that isn't limited to your clothing. Julianne Hough dyed her hair pink, and the bubblegum-hued shade actually looks kind of amazing.

Hough isn't the first to take the spring hair color plunge. January Jones went blush pink, Hilary Duff went mermaid turquoise, and Amber Rose tried smurf blue. Forget going blonde for the sunny months — 2015 is all about the color. Julianne, who admits she loves to experiment with her looks, wanted to try something new with her hair, and decided to share the reasoning with her fans on her blog.

"So why did I decide on the color pink this time? Because pink is the color of kindness!”

Not only does she look gorgeous, but her explanation makes her all the more pretty in pink. So who's to thank for Julianne's candy-colored makeover? Her stylist, Riawna Capri, who ironically is also responsible for Hilary's sea-inspired blue. She's clearly the celebrity go-to for funky colors.

And for those contemplating a drastic 'do, Hough offers some sound advice. She writes on her blog that you should make sure to see a professional and touch up your roots every 4-6 weeks. "This look can go from hot to hot mess really easily.”
