Ciara Wears Monochrome And Kills It Again

ICYMI, Ciara and Nicole Scherzinger have signed on to be contestants on a new variety show called I Can Do That. While promoting their new venture, both Ciara and Scherzing stunned in monochromatic outfits on the NBC Universal Summer Press Day red carpet.

Ciara has been killing the monochromatic look lately, recently sporting a sand colored suede ensemble, and when she stepped out on the NBC Universal red carpet wearing the look again, the story was no different. That’s right, she owned all khaki everything not once but twice. Talk about talent!

Instead of opting for suede, this time around she went with a much less structured, satin-y fabric. Pairing a loose jacket (channeling that Kylie Jenner bathrobe look) with a pair of matching pants and pumps, she looked completely put together and elegant.

Nicole Scherzinger must have been taking notes from her fellow pop star because she also showed up in a one-color ensemble, choosing to go with white instead of khaki. Wearing a low-cut, mid-drift bearing crop top and fitted white skirt, she definitely turned up the heat on what’s quickly becoming Ciara’s signature style.

The ladies also showed off their luscious locks for the occasion, both opting to leave their hair down. While both had flawless tresses, I was hoping for some major hair inspo a la Ciara's fishtail ponytail. However, they did prove to me that a center part can look good, which is no small feat.

Whether Ciara actually served as inspiration for Scherzinger’s outfit or not, both of their ensembles are encouraging me to incorporate monochrome into my wardrobe, that’s for sure. And this is only the beginning — I can’t wait to check out their killer fashion game on I Can Do That.
