I never would have expected that the second Jersey Shore star to become a parent would be grenade catcher Pauly D, but I guess life works in unexpected ways sometimes and all that. It's true: According to Us Weekly, Pauly D has welcomed a daughter with a former fling. Congrats!
There's not much info about this so-called "former fling," but here's what we do know: She's reportedly 26, she met Pauly while he was DJing in Las Vegas, and she currently resides in New Jersey with her and Pauly's daughter. "I'm proud I'm a father," Pauly reportedly told TMZ after confirming the news. "I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."
TMZ also reports that the mom has filed documents in court to establish Paul DelVecchio as the father (that's his real name, because no parent in their right mind names their child Pauly D), and Pauly took a paternity test to prove he was the father.
This is the first child for Pauly, and the second Jersey Shore baby — 14 months ago, Snooki (or Nicole Polizzi, if you're boring) welcomed a baby boy named Lorenzo with her fiancé, Jionni LaValle. How long until we're all watching Jersey Shore: The Next Generation on MTV?
