Here's some really scary news. According to TMZ, Mob Wives star Big Ang is in the hospital after doctors found a tumor in her throat. Apparently, she complained of neck pain and soon after a tumor the "size of a lemon" was found. It seems Big Ang, whose real name is Angela Raiola, was getting ready to film for a different reality show (it's unclear what show this is), when she first began experiencing pain. Reportedly, she was admitted to a Staten Island hospital, where she'll undergo surgery and have the tumor removed. At this time, there is no word on whether it's cancerous.
On Tuesday, March 31, Big Ang was last seen in public at a reality TV event in New York City. She shared a photo on her Facebook page, where she posed with Omarosa, Tila Tequila, Ronnie Magro, and Jon Gosselin.
Some are wondering if Big Ang's smoking habits contributed to the throat tumor, but, again, no official comment or statement has been released regarding her health status.
Big Ang first became famous in 2011 when VH1 debuted the reality series, Mob Wives, which follows the lives of, you guessed it, alleged mob wives. The show follows women who are picking up the pieces after their family members have been convicted for mob-related activities.
