Katy Perry Got A Pixie Cut Like Kris Jenner

When it comes to Katy Perry, pretty much anything goes, especially in the hair department. The singer's latest look, however, is rather unexpected. Katy Perry got a pixie haircut à la Kris Jenner, and it's the most dramatic yet most tame hairstyle she has ever rocked before. The Roar singer debuted the new 'do on her Instagram, in a photo captioned "asked for the Kris Jenner". Are these two newfound BFFs? I'd say so. They were spotted hanging out and taking selfies at the Chanel Boat party in NYC just days ago. Best friends totally copy each other's hairstyles, right?

Clearly feeling inspired by the reality star mom, Perry's cut looks almost identical to Jenner's. While this is definitely the most dramatic length the songstress has ever debuted, it's simultaneously pretty subtle in terms of color. We're used to seeing Perry with candy-colored locks, so reverting to basic black is kind of, well, basic.

Nevertheless, I'm digging the more "natural" look. It totally emphasizes her gorgeous blue eyes and those well-defined brows. I wonder if Kris Jenner convinced her to go for the dark-colored chop? The pixie is so going to be the new lob, I'm calling it now.
