What Photo Apps Does Kylie Jenner Use?
One of the first things that comes up when you type the phrase "what photo apps" into Google search is the question "What photo apps does Kylie Jenner use?" It's no surprise why. One look at her Instagram photos and you'll notice Jenner appears to have fuller lips, fuller brows, and a glow on all of her images that makes us wish our own photos looked as good as hers. But just because we may not have a full makeup and hair team everyday, doesn't mean we can't use the same filters and editing apps that she does to make it look like we do!
In a Seventeen magazine article and YouTube video, Kylie reveals that she has used KitCam and the Perfect365 app (which are both free!) to perfect her infamous selfies. Some other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, like big sis Kim, have also been known to use the latter.
I would like to think that Jenner uses the apps to enhance the parts of her natural beauty that she already loves (because she's beautiful, no doubt), but I wonder: doesn't editing her photos give us a false sense of beauty? There's a fine line between using a photo app to make photos look artsy and well-produced versus enhancing parts of your face into a person that doesn't even look like your true self.
FACT: This selfie doesn't even look like Kylie! Granted she does have contacts in from a video shoot, but it looks like she definitely used an app to alter her face compared to what her face looks like in the photo below.
Here's the baby-faced Jenner who looks more her age, despite her high-fashion outfit.
In a mini series Kylie did with Seventeen magazine, she reveaed that she has more than 11,000 photos on her phone. That's a lot to choose from for the best Instagram pic! So perhaps that's another secret to getting a great Jenner-worthy Instagram: take as many takes as you can before you decide on the best one!
Whatever the reasoning Jenner has behind enhancing herself in her photos is probably for her to know and us to always wonder about, but there's no harm in trying out the apps ourselves, right?
