Lorde's Makeup Free Selfie Is Gorgeous, Obvs
Yet another celebrity has decided to join the #WokeUpLikeThis gang. Lorde posted a makeup-free selfie, and the singer looks as fresh-faced and as beautiful as ever (obviously). The 18 year-old singer is, of course, not the only one to hop on the no makeup bandwagon. Countless celebrities like Taylor Swift, Kourtney Kardashian, and Demi Lovato have all participated in the movement, which has seemed to skyrocket in popularity as of late (we can thank Beyonce for that).
The photo, posted to Instagram, displays Lorde's silky smooth skin, which looks like it's practically made of porcelain, even without being slathered in foundation. As a teenager (it's hard to believe she is still a teen!) her skin is naturally going to appear very youthful, so it's no surprise that her bare face looks #flawless.
This is not the first time the songstress has crossed the sans makeup border either. In fact, she has posted many other photos on social media sporting a natural look, so we know she is definitely a fan of the trend. Although Lorde is not one to wear very heavy makeup on the regular, we are used to seeing her with a dark black or plum colored lip pretty much everywhere she goes — it's kind of her signature thing. So this au natural look is a super refreshing change.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the makeup-free movement. I love that celebrities are embracing their natural beauty and showing fans worldwide that they're totally normal (as normal as a celeb can be anyway) and sometimes wake up with puffy eyes and blemishes, and just like us (kind of)!
