Beyonce Is A Pretty Rainbow

No one likes the rain, but the upside of a spring shower? The rainbow after the storm! Or if you're like Queen Bey...during the storm. Beyoncé wore a rainbow dress in the middle of a New York City rain shower and made the dreary day a whole bunch brighter.

The 711 singer, fresh off her husband Jay Z's Tidal announcement, stepped out in Manhattan on Tuesday wearing a colorful dress right off the fall Milan runway. The Marco de Vincenzo frock was long-sleeved and hit just above the ankle, and it was sparkling in every color of the rainbow. And then some.

With multi-colored vertical stripes, she almost looked like a very chic pack of the zebra FruitStripe gum I used to chew as a kid. The figure hugging dress was meant to evoke that eighties theme that popped up on several of the runways at fashion week, but the silhouette keeps it modern and fresh. Bey paired the shimmering stunner with indigo, braided satin heels and a blue duster coat. With a pink, painted lip, it was certainly a head-turning look that made the sad spring we're having in NYC a whole bunch of bright and pretty.
