Check Out The New 'Daredevil' Character Posters

by Alexis Rhiannon

Can we all just give it up for Netflix for a second? Because they've really been killing it lately. Pretty much every piece of programming they put out, I'll slurp it up like milk out of a wine glass. (That's an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt joke, and I hope you're really impressed with me for making it.) And to all their recent successes, it's looking like we can add the show Daredevil , which is premiering at midnight on April 10, giving you a solid five days to binge watch before you have to turn your attention to your taxes.

The show centers around a regular guy named Matt Murdock who gets blinded by a radioactive substance that heightens his other senses, turning him into a superhero who's tasked with keeping modern day New York City safe from a variety of villains including Warren Fisk, who runs the organized crime syndicate in the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen. He's played by Vincent D'Onofrio, and while we've already seen a photo of him in all his creepy baldness, the show really takes it to the next level in the posters. They're the perfect mix of murky gloom, with bright pops of color, and they have me hoping that they echo the show perfectly in tone. (And based on the trailer, which layers realism and elements of noir, it kinda seems like they do!)

You've got D'Onofrio looking menacingly into the camera, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple gazing alluringly over one shoulder, Eldon Henson as Foggy Nelson looking straight into it, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page peering nervously out of frame, and Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, mirroring D'Onofrio's pose, staring straight out.

Makes it seem like the clash between Daredevil and Fisk will be particularly epic, doesn't it? And I really can't wait to get into the thick of it.
