Michael Gary Scott would be so proud! Us Weekly reports that The Office 's Brian Baumgartner welcomed his first child, a baby girl named Brylee Bea, with wife Celeste on Feb. 19. Baumgartner also announced the exciting news on Instagram, where he showed a sweet picture of himself and his daughter. The photo caption reads:
My latest project. 9 months in the making. I am happy to announce the arrival of my daughter- Brylee Bea- healthy and very happy. She told me she looks forward to catching up on all the old episodes of The Office once her eyes adjust to life.
I think it's safe to say Baumgartner is absolutely smitten with his daughter. Per Us Weekly, Brylee weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces, and as you can see from the photo, she has a nice head of hair.
Tuesday was the 10th anniversary of The Office , so Baumgartner sharing his baby news sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a show that will forever be beloved by fans. Plus, it's a great way to honor Baumgartner's character Kevin Malone. Speaking of the sometimes dimwitted accountant Kevin, how do you think he'd fare at raising a child? I'm pretty sure Kevin and Baumgartner would have different parenting styles.
