'Little Women: LA' Drama Didn't Sway Briana

After the Little Women: LA Season 2 finale, the fates of the six ladies were left up in the air. Like, are Briana and her boyfriend still together after all the doubt from her friends and family? Turns out, they're still in love: Briana and Matt are still together, and engaged, but the rest of the cast isn't convinced yet. It was just a few episodes ago that everyone agreed that Briana and Matt needed an intervention to stop them from getting engaged. Turns out that while it seemed like Briana ended the relationship, recent pictures posted online seem to suggest that they've been able to weather the storm.

But while this might strike some fans as a worrying detail, they haven't moved forward on a marriage or even planning a big wedding yet, so there's still time to figure out if Matt is a great guy or a bad one. And because of his reality show exposure, he had a chance to share his side of the story with Starcasm, where he recently gave a long interview explaining everything about his record in (some) detail. Unfortunately, the whole experience made him seem significantly less trustworthy, because a few days after the interview was posted, "Matt's statements were removed by request." Bad sign that in his big moment to explain everything, he was forced to recant.

Especially after seeing that fiasco, I'm sure that Briana's friends and family are still really hesitant about this marriage going through. I seriously understand where Christy and the rest of the ladies were coming from with his drinking, too. Any domestic violence charges need to be taken very seriously if you're thinking about getting engaged or married — especially if this is someone you've just recently met. It doesn't seem like Briana and Matt have spent that long together (they'd only been dating for 3 months when they went on the New Orleans trip, according to the show!), and it's possible that they could be moving way too fast.

But I can't totally fault Briana either. She hasn't moved in with Matt or even introduced him to Leiana, her daughter, at least on the show. But on March 4, it looked like they were still pretty together, hanging out on a boat.

Two weeks ago, they were attending a concert together.

And, according to a picture that Starcasm got a hold of, she's been spending some time with Matt's side of the family, getting to know his ex-wife. Actually, the fact that he's still in contact with his ex-wife is one of the few good signs about Matt. If somehow he was able to reconcile with her, even after some of the charges brought against him, then maybe he really is capable of change. Let's hope so — or hope that Briana wises up and dumps him by Little Women: LA Season 3.
