With all these new celebrity lobs making their debuts this year, the lob trend has been making more than just a boring old fashion statement. From Kim Kardashian's icy lob to Sarah Hyland's sun-kissed ombré lob, I can literally say that lobs are on fleek for 2015. I don't mind this hairstyle being a trend though, and this is coming from someone whose hair length is far from the lob's short, shoulder-sweeping length. A lob seems like the perfect hairdo for 2015, IMHO.
As evidenced by all of this year's most stylish celebs, the lob is totally ideal for someone looking for a new hairstyle. I'm starting to consider the year's big hair trend: It's not too short where I'll cry after chopping 7 inches of my locks off, and not too long to where it can't be maintainable during spring and summer's hotter months. I haven't cut my hair shorter than my shoulders since I was 8, so I admit, making the switch from super long hair to short hair is kind of scary. But looking at all these celebrities has me almost convinced that it's time to finally make the change once and for all. Whether it's light and playful or bold and striking, these celebs definitely know how to rock the short 'do, and that's why they've become our favorite lobs of 2015 so far.

Although short-lived, the lob looked really great on the singer/actress. Come back soon, now, ya hear!
2. Jessica Alba
Although it was one of our favorite celebrity lobs, it still wasn't short enough for Alba. The mom/CEO of The Honest Co. decided to chop a few more inches off of her a couple days later. But whatevs: potato, poe-ta-toe, lob, bob. Both short styles look great on her.
3. Lucy Hale
Who knew goth lipstick + a lob would equal perfection? Lucy Hale, that's who.
4. Kim Kardashian
The Internet and I both can't get enough of Kim Kardashian's new do.
5. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
The model definitely knew how to start 2015 the right way.
6. Sarah Hyland
Don't want to wear extensions anymore? Just take them out like Sarah Hyland did and voilà, you've got yourself a new stylish lob.
