In an interview with Seventeen magazine, Elgort said he’s not attracted to Woodley in a sexual way. He explained, “Me and Shailene have a really platonic relationship. I’ve never once wanted her sexually, which is nice. But for me, if a person is someone I’m attracted to, and she’s my best friend, hopefully we’re dating.” With that said, Elgort was also trying to make the point that it is possible for men and women to be just friends.
