Ruby-lipped, longhaired Los Angeles waitress Britt Nilsson was a fast favorite on this season of The Bachelor . Straight out of the gate, she was fun, she was bubbly, she was vivacious, and Bachelor Chris Soules was all about her bass. It’s too bad, then, that Britt was quickly eclipsed by contestants Whitey Bischoff and Becca Tilley and had a “you can’t fire me, I quit” moment with Chris. Oh, Britt, we hardly knew ye. Though she was mostly charming, Britt wasn’t without her quirks, namely sleeping with all of her makeup on, which is sort of brilliant. You never know when you’re going to be pulled out of your bed to go on a date! Though dermatologists all over the nation may have shuddered at this revelation, I give her props on her timesaving and face-saving skills.
Weirdly enough, Britt became somewhat of a villain toward the end of the season: The other girls, as ladies on The Bachelor are wont to do, accused her of being “fake” and “not being [here] for the right reasons, but, frankly, that sounds mostly like jealousy, because Britt is beautiful and well-liked in Bachelor circles. This makes her a prime candidate for Season 11 of The Bachelorette. Even though an official announcement of the Bachelorette has not yet been made, let’s speculate on what hijinks would go down on a Britt season of The Bachelorette.
She Still Would Never Take Her Makeup Off
Britt’s got that camera-ready look on lock. Over the entire filming of the show, she’ll wash her face only three times, ensuring that her hotel room door is triple-locked each time, lest Chris Harrison barge in and demand that she eliminate half her group of contestants after an afternoon of tightrope-walking between two high-rise buildings in Beijing.
Part Of The Game Will Be Not Showering
Listen, doing your hair everyday takes a long time, especially when it’s the lush thickness and length of Britt’s signature locks. You have to train your hair not to need to be washed every day, just like Britt has. Contestants on Britt’s season of The Bachelorette will be challenged to forgo showering along with her. The man who goes the longest will get an extra one-on-one date.
A Date Will Involve Saying Mean Things About Kaitlyn & Carly
If you’ve watched Chris’ season of The Bachelor (especially the “Women Tell All” special), you know there’s no love lost between Carly Waddell and Britt. One of the dates on Britt’s Bachelorette will involve each contestant creating acrostic poems with mean words ONLY using Carly’s name. Also Kaitlyn’s, because how dare she think she would be the Bachelorette?
There Will Be a Tray-Carrying Challenge
Britt is an aspiring model and actress, which in Los Angeles-speak means that she is a waitress. A life in the service industry is not an easy one, and one of Britt’s group dates would be throwing five of her contestants into a trendy, absolutely slammed restaurant on a Saturday night. Only the strong will survive that one.
Nothing Would Involve Country Music
Remember how weird Britt’s dancing was during the Big & Rich date with Chris? That girl is not a country fan. Britt would let herself be goofy like that on television just once, but of course not on her own season. No music dates at all, producers!
Of course, Britt fans' hopes may be dashed Monday as creator Mike Fleiss mentioned that Bachelor producers would announce it all on the season finale of The Bachelor on March 9. Stay strong, folks.
