Cara Delevingne's Amanda Knox Movie Has A Trailer

by Kaitlin Reilly

Some girls just have "it," and whatever this proverbial "it" is, model Cara Delevingne has plenty. The perfectly-browed fashion model has previously dipped her toes in the acting game, but now it seems that she's diving right in: the model appears in the new film Face of An Angel opposite Kate Beckinsale and Daniel Bruhl, and it's a film that might solidify her as a true model slash actress. As the Cara Delevingne-starring Face Of An Angel's first trailer shows us, the film — which is loosely based on the Amanda Knox case — will tell the story of a journalist looking to solve the case of an American student murdered in Siena, Italy. Delevingne plays a student who assists the journalist in his quest for the truth.

Face of An Angel is the first glimpse we saw of Delevingne in a major acting role, though it won't be her only project in the upcoming year. In fact, Delevingne is slowly inching her way towards real Hollywood stardom, and not just the bit parts that models sometimes get when they stray too far from the catwalk. The model could very well be Hollywood's next big thing on the scene, and here's why she has all the makings of a potential new starlet.

Delevingne will star in Paper Towns , the film adaptation of a novel by John Green who penned that little cultural phenomenon The Fault in Our Stars. And if there's anything that Shailene Woodley, Kristen Stewart, and Jennifer Lawrence can tell you about fame, it's that you attain in quickly when you appease a YA-reading fanbase.

She's had a high-profile celebrity romance

Or at least an alleged one. Michelle Rodriguez and Delevingne did make a cute couple, even if the world freaked out about them making out at a basketball game.

She has a role in a live-action Disney adaptation

She's set to play a mermaid in the upcoming Peter Pan tale, Pan , and boy does the world seem to love their reimagined fairytales.

She'll play Enchantress in the upcoming Suicide Squad film, which is apparently such a big deal that Jared Leto had to maim his beautiful long locks for it.
