Guardians of the Galaxy fans, Star-Lord is at it again, but this time it's a real-life situation. Did you know Chris Pratt rescued Jeremy Sisto's kid? In an interview with Nick Lachey during VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live, the Clueless actor revealed how Pratt pulled a real-life superhero moment by saving his kid. Seriously, what can't Pratt do? If you're ever in need, he's the one to call.
So, here's what went down. According to Sisto, he got a call from his wife saying that his infant-son got locked in a bedroom thanks to his three-year-old daughter. Well, Sisto was an hour away, so he did the next logical thing he could think to do: call his neighbors, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt.
He said,
So I call my neighbor — this very nice, chubby little kid who’s married to my friend Anna Faris, who lives down the block — and I say, "Could you head over there to help out?” Well, I didn't know that this guy had been transforming into the Star-Lord. So, my wife hasn't met him. He shows up ripped and handsome and actually kicks the door down in the most heroic moment — my moment, as a father, he stole from me.
Just like Rachel stole Monica's thunder on Friends, Pratt stole Sisto's chance at being a hero to his family. Hey, it's a good thing Pratt and his abs were there to do a good deed. Right? If I'd want anyone saving the day, it'd be Pratt. Now, Sisto says every time his family sees Pratt they look at him like he's a "deity" of some sort. Don't we all?
This isn't the first time Pratt's demonstrated his heroic talents. On multiple occasions he's dressed as Star-Lord and visited children's hospitals, in addition to donating his time and money to worthy charities, all while taking the time to meet fans. If that doesn't say hero, I don't know what does.
Pratt can't help but continue to be amazing, and I, for one, enjoy every moment of it.
