Lauren Conrad's Got Big News

It's been a while since we checked in with the former stars of The Hills, but it seems at least some of them are having better luck in their love lives since the show ended: Lauren Conrad is engaged! To some dude who is not a reality star!

Conrad and boyfriend William Tell have been dating for two years, and over this past weekend Conrad made the announcement of the engagement on her personal website.

I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend.

Conrad is, I am told, known for being pretty crafty since her Hills ending, so as she mentioned you can probably expect loads of how-to and DIY videos on how to pick bridesmaids dresses and wedding ribbons and all of the above and all of that. Wedding stuff! Pretty things!

Her husband-to-be is a law student and not a reality star, so we probably won't be seeing their big day airing on MTV or whatnot. You CAN, however, witness her engagement ring, as she posted a photo of it to her site:
