Taylor Swift Is The Sweetest Human Being Ever

by Nicole Pomarico

It's no secret by now that Taylor Swift is amazing to her fans. From inviting them to her house to hang out to sending them huge boxes of gifts at Christmas time, Swift works tirelessly to make her fans feel appreciated, and, if you're as quick to cry as I am, her latest deed will probably reduce you to tears. On Monday, Swift FaceTimed a terminally ill 4 year old fan named Jalene Salinas, whose final wish was to dance with Swift to "Shake It Off." And, even though Salinas is suffering from a brain cancer that has been worsening, fans were able to trend #ShakeItOffJalene in enough time for Swift to see it and call Salinas and her mom to grant her wish via phone.

And, despite the fact that Salinas wasn't feeling well when Swift called, she still listened intently as Swift told her how pretty she is and how happy she is to talk to her; it's obvious that both Salinas and her mother were over the moon. In the video below, you can see a few minutes of their conversation, and it's definitely worth watching. It's heartbreaking that Salinas is so sick, but it's hard not to be happy that she got her wish.

And over the course of her career, Swift has made it a point to be there for fans who are sick and in need, so this is hardly the first time something like this has happened. Below are a few videos that are definitely going to make you cry, so... don't say I didn't warn you!

She Visited Khloe

5 year old Khloe's wish was granted via Twitter too — with the trending topic #StayFearlessKhloe, started by her aunt. In 2014, Swift was able to make a visit to the hospital to see Khloe, who was suffering from cancer at the time. Seriously, how adorable is that photo?

She Sang With A Fan In The Hospital

According to this amazing video's caption, Swift stopped by this leukemia patient's room during a surprise visit to help cheer up the hospital's patients. She saw the keyboard, and magic was made. Boom: Impromptu jam sesh to Adele's "Someone Like You."

She Sang With Another Fan In The Hospital

This time, it's a tinier fan — a 7 year old named Jordan who just couldn't get enough of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Out came the guitar and Swift's signature dance moves, and you'd almost forget they were in a hospital. And even though he met Spider-Man the day before, it looks like Swift definitely measured up. P.S., if this doesn't warm your heart, you do not have one.

She Brought A Fan On Stage

Right around 3:20, Swift lifts a tiny fan out from the crowd in the middle of a concert on her Red Tour and brings her on stage, and she's beaming. It's ridiculously adorable — especially when she's more interested in waving to her adoring fans than actually hugging Swift.
