Anya Hindmarch's Sign-Inspired Bags Are Perfection
Remember last year at London Fashion Week when Anya Hindmarch basically won the entire accessories game with her ultra-fab leather stickers? They were essentially Lisa Frank for very classy (and very affluent) adults (my favorites were the throwback-esque pencil case box clutch and all of the emoji shifty-eyes clutches. Well, now she's done it again: This LFW, Anya Hindmarch sent signage-inspired accessories down the runway — featuring just about every road sign you could imagine in the most adorably quirky way. Accessories ranged from chic fur scarves with bold crimson "no entry" on the ends to oversized handbags emblazoned with the recycling sign — there was even a purse with a leather keychain that looked just like one of those pine tree-shaped car fresheners hanging off of it!
I mean, can the accessory design house do no wrong? From having some of the best LFW invitations in the business (those Mickey-hand stickers were pure genius), to owning the runway with some actual line dancing men (that's arguably even more genius), there's no denying the fact that they know how to throw a party like no one's business — and the same goes for their uniquely eccentric accessories. Let's take a look.
Road Work Ahead
Who knew traffic cones could be so chic? Ooh, and it also comes in snakeskin:
Slow Down
Just the right amount of sass factor.
Do Not Enter (And Also, Smile)
Check those scarves!
Queues Likely
If you're going to be stuck waiting in line, you might as well have some sartorial fun with it.
No U-Turn
As someone who gets habitually lost, this is one of my least favorite traffic signs. Killer handbag, though!
Park and Ride
Cute clutch, and even cuter air freshener.
Roundabout
This London-based brand would be remiss if they didn't feature a roundabout in some form.
What a cool bunch, eh? No one knows how to keep it fun on the runway quite like Anya Hindmarch.
