Talk about simultaneously adorable and exciting. In a new post on her Instagram Tuesday, Glee star Naya Rivera announced her pregnancy in what I'm fairly sure is the sweetest way ever: An animated photo of a loaf of bread in the oven, captioned, "Bun in the oven!" Say it with me now: Aww.
This news, as happy and exciting as it is, sort of comes out of nowhere in a way: Since Rivera married hubby Ryan Dorsey in 2014, there haven't been many — if any — pregnancy rumors at all surrounding the couple. However, when you think about it, it does fit in with their style as a married couple: Their wedding in summer of 2014 was a surprise to many fans of Rivera as it too came out of nowhere, so it's sort of only fitting that their pregnancy announcement be as total shocker as well.
Rivera also linked to her personal website in the caption of the Instagram photo, where she further elaborated on the adorable announcement:
We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family.
Who else can hardly take how cute this is? Congrats to the happy couple!
