Kim Kardashian's Throwback Instagram is Epic

It’s hard to believe that Kim Kardashian used to be Paris Hilton’s assistant/best friend now that she is arguably one of the most talked about people on the planet and Hilton is, well, not. Since Kardashian’s meteoric rise to fame, the two have been less than friendly. But earlier today, Kardashian posted a throwback Instagram of her and Paris from their 2006 vacation in Ibiza and it's all kinds of amazing.

In the photo, Hilton was wearing a very 2006-esque bathing suit—a tankini with palm trees and parrots on it, while Kardashian kept it simple in a black halter suit. Not only does this precious snap prove that these two were once inseparable, but also that Kim Kardashian wasn't always about high fashion like she is today. In fact, she was far from it.

In case you weren't aware of their rather infamous feuding friendship, allow me to refresh your memory: Hilton once said that Kardashian’s famous derriere reminded her of “cottage cheese inside a big trash bag” during a radio interview in 2008, which implied that the former friends were no longer on good terms. Rawr.

So, does this photo mean that all the drama might be water under the bridge? Could this gesture will mend their broken bond? My guess is no, but it is quite entertaining to see how much the two have changed since 2006.

This actually isn't the first time Kardashian instagrammed a pic of her and Hilton in Ibiza. A few months ago, Kardashian shared a photo of the frenemies partying at Richard Tisci's birthday party, where they presumably talked about their 2006 vacation to Ibiza and called each other "betch." And if you're asking me, I have to say that the throwback photo is so much better.
