Just When You Thought The Amber Rose Feud Was Over

I was among those who were very confused on Monday when Khloe Kardashian threw shade at Amber Rose that clearly and obviously seemed to come in response to mysterious shade that Rose had already thrown at her behind our backs. Naturally, it did not take the Internet long to discover that Rose had insulted Kylie Jenner and Tyga for their relationship with one another, which is yet still unconfirmed to be romantic, making her the second celebrity after Drake to take recent pot shots at the two celebrities and the age gap between them. However, after Rose and Kardashian's feud escalated to the point of casually throwing the word "whore" around, I hope I wasn't alone in believing they needed to squash that noise — and fast. Sadly, Kardashian has now added nude photos into the mix, and it appears this conflict really can get worse.

According to Just Jared, this new level to the conflict started when a Kim Kardashian fan account on Instagram posted Rose's leaked nude photos — and Khloe liked two of them. Rose responded by posting a screengrab of Khloe's actions alongside the caption, "Yo @khloekardashian I'm really happy for u and I'm gonna let u finish but I have the best leaked nude pics of all time! 👅 #StopSweatinMeHoe."

Yikes. Where does one even begin with this? Even in the midst of a feud like this one born out of a desire to protect her family from haters, Khloe of all people should know better than to sink so low as to like a post circulating Rose's leaked nude photos. It's infamous at this point that her sister, Kim, first came to fame over a leaked sex tape and, even if it wasn't, the leaked nude pictures of celebrities from Gabrielle Union to Jennifer Lawrence from 2014 changed the way the world looked at those kinds of scandals; the lesson that someone's intimate photos being hacked and then disseminated on the Internet is a sex crime for which the hacker is at fault and not the victim is still fresh in the public's minds. By liking the photos of Rose, Khloe was approving of a sex crime.

Thus, Khloe has given Rose the high road in this situation by stooping to levels that no one can justify stooping to. There was no reason for her to like those leaked photos. There was no excuse for her to like those leaked photos. The only person more in the wrong was the Kim Kardashian fan account for even posting them in the first place. You can be angry at someone for insulting a member of your family, and Twitter arguments are a silly but still acceptable form of combat in today's social media heavy world, but there is nothing that Rose has done that would even come close to justifying her nudes appearing on Khloe's favorite posts list for everyone to see.

It's been said by practically every Bustle writer by now, but allow me to be the next one to say that this feud has gone way too far and it's beyond time for both women to agree to disagree and move on. If the fight has already descended to the level of circulating nude pictures, then there aren't very many lower levels that either women can stoop to before they do damage that is more irreversible than this. Whether or not you agreed with Rose's assessment of Jenner and Tyga's relationship is no longer the issue. The issue is Khloe's disappointing actions that not only showed a lack of respect for Rose as a person, but a lack of respect for Rose as a woman.
