What Did Amber Rose Say About Tyga & Kylie?

by Jamie Primeau

Although their relationship has never been confirmed, the reported romance between Kylie Jenner and Tyga is receiving a lot of criticism lately. Besides the ridiculous pregnancy and marriage rumors a few months back, Drake called out Tyga in a very public way on his latest mixtape. In the song "6 PM in New York," Drake says,

It’s so childish calling my name on the world stageYou need to act your age and not your girl’s age

Basically, Drake called Tyga immature, as if he's acting Kylie Jenner's age (which is 17, BTW). Now Amber Rose is speaking out against Tyga as well. Since she's good friends with Blac Chyna (aka the mother of Tyga's child), Rose was asked what she thinks about Tyga and Jenner's reported relationship during an interview with Power 105.1. Not holding back, Wiz Khalifa's ex said,

She's a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o'clock and relax... That's ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. That's how I feel. For sure... He has a beautiful woman [Blac Chyna] and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old that just turned 17.

Yikes! Sure, Rose can have her opinions about how Tyga behaves as a father, but to insult Jenner like that is totally uncalled for. It's also a bit awkward, considering Rose previously dated Kanye West (who happens to be Kylie Jenner's brother-in-law).

Speaking of Kanye West, of course he came up in the interview too. When asked about him, Rose said,

Me and Kanye aren't compatible... I appreciate everything Kanye did for me. He really, really looked out for me. He always wanted the best for me. He was a lot older than me. He was into sh— I wasn't into. He wasn't my type of guy.

I think it's great that she still speaks of him in a positive way, but it's maybe a bit hypocritical for Rose to criticize Jenner and Tyga's age difference, since West was older than her when they dated. Granted, it wasn't an 8-year age difference, but still, Rose and West were six years apart.

Anyway, despite those comments, it turns out Rose doesn't actually "hate" the Kardashian crew. When asked about the famous family, Rose says, "I really don't hate those girls. I don't really respect them, but I don't hate them." Probably not the best thing to say, but at least she wasn't straight-up mean.

If you want to watch the whole interview (where she also talks about Wiz Khalifa and their divorce), check it out below. Since it's pretty long, skip ahead to the 27-minute mark for the Kylie/Tyga comments.
