Say what you will about her, but Kim Kardashian — make that Kim Kardashian West — is a consummate self-promoter and that extends to the commercial efforts of her hubby Kanye West, too. Kim Kardashian wore head-to-toe Yeezy at the Kanye West Yeezy fashion show and yeah... I just don't know if this ensemble is working for her. I don't hate it with any sort of vehemence, but I don't like it.
You'd have to think that Yeezy himself and his team designed all the pieces with his missus in mind in some way, shape, or form. This one is a miss. Kardashian's kurves are celebrated and famous, so while this unitard x leggings combo thing certainly hugs her figure, I am not sure it does so in a flattering way. Hmm...
The chocolate-y color is sort of drab and WTF with the high-waisted, visible pantylines? Those are downright confounding. I am surprised that some camel toe action didn't happen here!
The bottom of the leggings look cropped and her boobs look krushed, er, crushed by the super tight top. It's definitely urban streetwear, but is it... wearable? Kim's got an an amazing body and this ensemble does her no favors. It's just a bit off. I think it's the combination of the color and the unitard-like look. She's too good for this. And so is her husband.
The best part about the look is the camo jacket. That I want to wear! The suede boots are pretty killer, too.
It looks like that mini fashion plate North digs what Mommy is wearing.
But the true litmus test is Anna Wintour. Does she like it? Probably not. She doesn't look she wants to be in the picture and her wrinkled nose, "Get me outta here" facial expression is a tell-all. And here, Kimmy looks like a backup dancer from Yeezy's last tour.
I've made up my mind. It's a Fashion Don't.
