'The Slap' Cast on NBC Is Full Of Famous Faces... Like, Lots Of Famous Faces
NBC Thursdays just got a whole a lot more dramatic. Once known as the night with a killer comedic TV lineup, Thursdays on NBC have shifted the style a bit. And with the recent departure of Parenthood still stinging our Braverman-loving souls, NBC needed a powerhouse drama to take its place. And it certainly found one in The Slap, a mini-series with cast chock full of famous faces. The show is actually based on the book by Christos Tsiolkas and the Australian TV series of the same name.
The Slap centers around a family party wherein a child receives a disciplinary slap from his uncle, which sets off a chain of events revealing the family members’ darkest secrets and in the process, tearing them apart. And if the show’s roster of talented stars is any indication, I have a feeling things are about to get dramatic in an incredible way.
