You HAVE To See Charli XCX's Grammy's Outfit
Most of the time, Charli XCX looks like she walked out of a '90s Delia*s catalogue. It's always tremendous and intensely venerable. Tonight at the 2015 Grammy's, Charli XCX wore an iridescent satin suit and looked FLY AS HELL. In short, she didn't fail to live up to the cheeky throwback aesthetic that we've come to know and love her for. Also, a Party Down reference never hurts...
From the success of her single "Boom, Clap" to "Break The Rules, it has certainly been a watershed year this British artist. She partied, boob-grabbed, and sang-yelled her way into our hearts with that cool girl voice and vibe that made us INSTANTLY want to be friends. Tonight, Charli is nominated alongside Iggy for Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance for "Fancy." It goes without saying that this was clearly the theme for her outfit.
The singer's slick 3-piece suit was designed by Moschino, and it was accessorized to PERFECTION. From the baby pink tie, to the foxtail stole, baby girl was KILLING a campy menswear-meets-womenswear look. Be still, my camp-style loving heart. I think I've fallen in love.
Hair-wise, she wore her auburn locks in her signature tousled fashion, and went with a taupe lip.
Also, a wonderful soul on Twitter pointed out that she was pretty much channelling Lizzy Caplan from Party Down.
