Will One Direction Be At The Grammys?
There are two types of people in this world: Those who love One Direction, and those who are liars. And for those of us who are proud about our British boy band love, music-based award shows offer the unique opportunity to see 1D don their finest skinny pants and blazers and entertain us with their cute, blasé attitudes about silly American Hollywood events. Remember that time Harry Styles was casually snacking on an orange during the VMAs? And with music's biggest night — aka the 2015 Grammys — right around the corner, it'd seem like it's time to gear up to see the boys take on their next award show. But, sadly dear readers, this year it just wasn't meant to be: One Direction will not be at the Grammys, so don't get your hopes up about seeing everyone's favorite boy band crush on the red carpet this Sunday. And the good news? Their Australian fans are pretty happy about it.
Why? Because while the Grammys are happening in the US, One Direction will be on the second night of their On The Road Again Tour, performing in Sydney for their fans down under. I know, I know. It doesn't seem fair that Australians should get to have adorable actions and be blessed by the presence of Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis, and Liam at the same time, but that's just the way the Tim Tam crumbles. And just in case you're feeling particularly broken up about their absence, never fear — there are a few steps you can take to get over the heartbreak.
