R.J. Mitte wowed as Walt Jr. on Breaking Bad, and now that the series is over, it's no surprise that he's pretty hot in Hollywood right now. So hot, in fact, that he's already landed his first post-Breaking Bad role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, R.J. Mitte is headed to ABC Family's Switched at Birth this coming season for a recurring role. Sorry, guys — now you all have to watch this show.
There's no word yet on what exact episodes Mitte will be involved in, but we do know that he'll be portraying a dude named Campbell (which is a much better name than Walt. Jr, at least... ) who is a pre-med college student who was paralyzed in a snowboarding accident.
He'll be working alongside Daphne (Katie Leclerc) in the free clinic that is definitely not a front for an intricate meth operation headed by his father, surprise guest star Heisenberg. Definitely not. Unless ABC Family's gone a little darker than I thought...
Then again, maybe it will be! We all saw that photoshoot Mitte did with all the leather and hot girls a few months ago... the kid's got a dark side. A producer should definitely take advantage of that.
