If 'Galavant' Season 2 Gets a Renewal Order These 7 Guest Stars Could Totally Show Up
Speaking as someone who thoroughly enjoys a good spontaneous song and dance number, ABC's fairytale musical series Galavant quickly became one of my latest television obsessions. Though the entire season may have only spanned the course of four short weeks, each and every episode was fraught with danger, unparalleled adventure, and catchy melodies that were just cheesy enough to be fantastic. Naturally, I'm hoping beyond hope for Galavant to get a Season 2 order.
But the one thing that really served as the icing atop this delicious fairytale cake was the fact that there were so many wonderful guest stars that would pop up every now and then. Ricky Gervais, Weird Al Yankovic, John Stamos, Hugh Bonneville — all of these Hollywood gems made an appearance and the show was all the more better off for it. So given that creator Dan Fogelman has been hinting via Twitter that Galavant is "far from over" and promising fans that "there will be more," I thought I'd take the liberty of developing a Galavant Season 2 guest star wish list based on all the celebs Fogelman has worked with in the past. After all, in this business, it's all about who you know, right?

Emma Stone Via 'Crazy, Stupid, Love'
Following that same line of thinking, Stone (who also starred in Crazy, Stupid, Love) would be able to lend her incredible acting chops to this fairytale adventure. And given the outstanding reviews she’s received for her Broadway performance in Cabaret, I’d say her vocals would be a welcome addition to this merry band of musical misfits.
Ryan Gosling Via 'Crazy, Stupid, Love'
“Hey Girl, want me to rescue you from that tower?” I mean, can you imagine all the swooning? Granted, the odds of this actually happening are probably slim to none, but it’s still incredible to think about.
Mandy Moore Via 'Tangled'
Another one of Fogelman’s credits goes to the 2010 Disney animated film Tangled, which starred Moore as the lonely Rapunzel, who enjoyed singing almost as much as going on adventures. Sounds like the perfect fit for this fairytale clan!
Jeffrey Tambor Via 'Tangled'
Though Tambor is keeping pretty busy these days with his phenomenal Amazon series Transparent, I bet he’d be more than willing to stop by the Galavant set for a quick cameo. Perhaps even a rendition of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know”?
Seth Rogen Via 'The Guilt Trip'
This one doesn’t really need an explanation, does it? Comedy gold times infinity!
John Travolta via 'Bolt'
The thought of seeing Travolta in yet another musical brings pure joy to my heart. You just know he and King Richard would get along famously. They’d just want to make extra sure he was pronouncing everyone’s name correctly.
