Is Ed Sheeran Still Dating Athina Andrelos?

We're in the middle of winter, the cuddle buddy cuffing season, and on the eve of Valentine's Day, so love is definitely in the air. This is a time when I can't go into any establishment without hearing Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and quietly sobbing inside as I stand in line at Starbucks whilst gazing longingly off into the snowy distance... Just kidding. But seriously, the song is beautiful, romantic, and apparently directly inspired by Sheeran's girlfriend, Athina Andrelos. Ugh, I always harbor a special jealousy for ladies who get amazing songs written about them, but I want to believe in love, so I have to wonder: are Ed Sheeran and Athina Andrelos still together?

Being a couple in show business is never an easy thing, especially if one of the people involved is not in the spotlight. Back in June 2014, Sheeran told Seventeen magazine that he was dating a girl from back home, and that "she was the tour manager for a girl that was my opening act, and now she doesn't work in music anymore, she works for a chef." In fact, Andrelos is pretty active on her social media and her Twitter does confirm that she now manages food stylists with Jamie Oliver's company. Interesting.

But back to the subject at hand, is this adorable couple still together? Well, all signs point to YEP, but they are still keeping it as cool as they can. This past December, Sheeran shared with Yahoo! Celebrity that although he is still with a girlfriend, he isn't looking to settle down and get married any time soon — he is only 23, after all! He explained,

I'd like to have kids and a wife, and you know, drop them off at school and like, do normal things rather that constantly being on tour. Because I'm young now and I haven't really got a social life. This is all I do. It's the best job in the world, but I'll get to the point where there's more to life than work.

Hmm, could Andrelos be the lady he wants to settle down with eventually? On Dec. 3, the couple was photographed holding hands while returning from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London, where Sheeran performed the hit song he wrote for Andrelos. How's that for romantic?

Andrelos, too, is very proud of sharing her life with her boyfriend of almost a year. She posted a photo of herself celebrating New Year's Eve with Sheeran and a cute photo of them on the beach together on Jan.16. And as recently as Jan. 26, posted a photo of a delicious lobster burger seemingly photobombed by Sheeran's middle finger.

If I had to bet, I'd say this couple is enjoying their success and hard work and doing what young couples in love should be doing: going on tropical vacations and eating fancy meals and shmoozing with Victoria's Secret models because they can. Let's hope Sheeran is working on some new material soon because his lovely muse seems to be doing something very right, and I think we all want to hear about it.
