Well, this is a birthday they surely won't forget. Not only do Shakira and Gerard Piqué share a birthday (Feb. 2 to be exact), but they also got to take their newborn son Sasha Piqué Mebarak home on the special day, E! News reports. The couple was spotted leaving the hospital with their latest addition and eldest son, Milan. Seriously, talk about a happy day for the lovely couple.
Not only do they get to celebrate their birthdays together, but they also get to celebrate the fact that their new baby boy finally gets to go home. No word yet if they had a big joint welcome home and birthday party, but I have a feeling they probably wanted to be by themselves, take in the special moment, and get some much needed rest!
However, if they did have a party, then there's no doubt they had lots of cake and celebrated with family and friends. This seems to be the birthdays of all birthdays, if you ask me.
On Jan. 29, Shakira and Piqué announced the birth of their son with the following statement: "We are happy to announce the birth of Sasha Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 29 at 9:54pm, in Barcelona."
