Bobbi Kristina Brown In Stable Condition – REPORT
Good news for Bobbi Kristina Brown, her family, and her many supporters: the 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston is reportedly in stable condition after being found unresponsive in her bathtub. Though the story has yet to be confirmed by the hospital or her immediate family, a source told People magazine that she is in stable condition.
(Update Feb. 2: On Feb. 2, the Houston family released this statement: "Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.")
(Update Feb. 4 : According to the lawyer of Bobbi Kristina Brown's father, Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon were not legally married.)
Brown's cousin Jerod told Sky News that she is doing fine at the moment. Brown is currently at North Fulton Hospital in Georgia, reportedly placed on a ventilator and surrounded by her family. Sources on Saturday afternoon told TMZ that she has been placed in a coma for swelling of the brain. However, Jerod Brown's message is hopeful. "She's pretty good right now, she's around family," he says. "I'm pretty sure she'll be getting out of there very soon."
Brown's husband Nick Gordon found her passed out in their Roswell, Georgia home on Saturday morning. Gordon performed CPR on Brown before the police arrived. This incident is close to the three-year anniversary of her mother, legendary singer Whitney Houston's, death. On February 11, 2012, Houston was found in the bathtub having passed out and drowned as a result of drug use and heart disease.
Until more news is released, many continue their outpouring of support on social media, sending their prayers and wishes for Brown's speedy recovery.
