On Monday's first hour of Celebrity Apprentice, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville proved she's more than the drama, crying, lies, and tears on the hit Bravo reality show. Not only did she step up as Project Manager for her team's task, but she was somewhat able to look past her feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore by working together and creating a New York boat tour that scored Glanville's team a win and her charity, the Make a Wish Foundation, a lot of money.
I don't know about anyone else, but the fact that Glanville voiced her concern for the boat tour's original theme, "Manhattan Mardi Gras," because she was scared New Orleans would be too much of the focus rather than New York City, and took a risk by changing the theme at the last minute (to "Big Apple Bonanza") showed a lot of strength and courage from Glanville. There was no way she was going to let what everyone else thought influence her gut feeling and how she wanted to handle the task.
Some might see her as a "pretty blonde" who just makes money thanks to Bravo, her cursing, and her drinking, but there's no doubt there is much more to Glanville than meets the eye. She proved just that on Monday's Celebrity Apprentice showing she has brains and beauty. Like the saying goes, "Never judge a book by its cover," and the same goes for this woman.
As a single mom who works hard to provide for her family, I've never doubted that Glanville is a strong, smart, and independent woman. Once again, she showed just that by taking her role as Project Manager seriously, standing up for what she wanted, and voicing her mind (as we RHOBH fans know she likes to do), all while raising money for a worthy organization.
Way to go, Brandi, and I can't wait to see what else she brings to the table!
