'GoT' Cast Looks Incredible At The SAGs
The cast of Game of Thrones is always one of the most anticipated groups on the red carpet. Not only are they all really, really ridiculously good looking (if I woke up tomorrow with Natalie Dormer's face instead of my own, I might be a little shocked, but I certainly would NOT complain), but they also clean up extremely well. I mean, what do you expect from the cast of one of television's most stylish shows (IMO)? Sure, those rugged Night Watch outfits aren't exactly chic, but most of the dresses are surprisingly modern (cutouts, anyone?) and look like they could have been torn straight from the Paris runways. Pretty sure that even if Emilia Clarke had just worn one of her Khaleesi outfits to the SAG Awards tonight she still would top my best dressed list.
Okay, so maybe the Westerosi clan didn't roll onto the red carpet in character, but they still pulled out all the stops, which seems wise given that Game of Thrones is up for the "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series" award tonight and all eyes are on the show's biggest stars. Every single cast member, from Maisie Williams to Gwyndoline Christie, knocked it out of the park at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild awards. Check out the looks below.
Maisie Williams
Arya Stark may be rocking a bit of a grungy look these days, but her IRL counterpart looks pitch-perfect (and Valentine's Day appropriate) in this doily-esque lace confection paired with gold Ursula Mascaro pumps and a sleek up 'do. Is that a Marsala lip I see???
Sophie Turner
Sophie Turner opted for a classic with a twist! Her LBD featured an asymmetrical hem, square neckline, and GoT-approved side cutout. Love that the red hearts on her sandals subtly match the dress her on-screen sis is wearing. Her barrel curls and hoop earrings are a little dated, but her lip gloss/smoky eye makeup are on-point.
Gwyndoline Christie
There's definitely a red theme going on tonight! Gwyndoline killed it a Giles couture gown, featuring an ultra-flattering halter-neck silhouette and sculpted details at the hip.
Emilia Clarke
Black and blue has never looked this good. Leave it to Clarke to make outshine everyone in one of the most subtle gowns of the evening. She offset the sleek look of her Donna Karen Atelier gown with a Cartier leopard bracelet and statement ring and drop earrings.
Kit Harrington
That. Hair. I see you cracking a teensy smile there, Jon Snow.
Natalie Dormer
The GoT star hit the red carpet sans Mockingjay-era side shave, which I honestly preferred to the strange gel comb-over she's got going on here. But that tie-dyed one-shoulder Naeem Khan gown is kiiiiiller.
