Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards 2015: Nicole Richie Thinks Pink, Miley Cyrus Flaunts Moschino Shirtdress, And 7 Other Memorable Looks

Celebs who also happen to be the biggest fashion influencers of the moment were on site (and well-dressed) at the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards — whew, that was a mouthful — which took place in L.A. on January 22. The impressive guest list included Nicole Richie, who showed off hot pink hair; Rihanna, who rocked a gold and fur ensemble; and Miley Cyrus, who opted for a wordy Moschino shirtdress. It was a mixed bag of glam and casual... and then there was that felt helmet hat thing-y, worn by quirky actress Rose McGowan, that was in a class all its own.

So, yeah, one could say that the veritable "Who's Who" of fashion turned up at this event.

Here are the most memorable looks of the evening.

Rihanna Rocks Colorblocked Moschino Coat (And Little Else)

RiRi kept warm in a metallic, fur collar coat from Moschino with tri-colorblocking and sequins. The gold, silver, and rose gold color scheme was gorgeous and she wore little else, save for the big waves.

Miley Cyrus Gets Wordy In Moschino Shirtdress

Miss. Miley was all about wordplay! She turned up in a sparkly Moschino shirtdress boasting a playful phrase in bold black letters and a self-referential crossbody. Adorbs! And hey — at least she didn’t go nekkid, right?!

Nicole Richie Is Pretty In Pink... And Black

The designer and former reality star stole the show with her hot pink bob and her LBD, with the “L” being “long” instead of “little.” This was by far my favorite look of the night, thanks to the optical illusion of the lattice-like design and leather fabric. I would chop a few inches off the skirt and wear it as a mini-dress.

That. Hat.

Rose McGowan, who once let it all hang out when she wore shreds of thread and called it a dress as Marilyn Manson’s date to the VMAs, opted for a conservative black top and wide-leg pants. But… WTF is on her head? I think it’s meant to mimic a colorful bob, but that periwinkle hat thing looks like a grade school art project made of felt.

Focus On Rose McGown's All-Black Outfit For A Sec

Focus, for a sec, on McGowan’s all-black outfit (if you can see it below her blinding headpiece, that is). It’s actually quite chic, if a little bland.

WTF?

At least she did something daring, right? The bordeaux lip look was sexy, but that helmet? It seriously looks like what would happen if Marge Simpson got an edgy new ‘do.

Minka Kelly Goes Geometric

Minka Kelly, who is seriously a Leighton Meester doppelganger and not just because they co-starred in that cheesy thriller The Roommate, went with a geometric, roped dress that was as futuristic as it was fashion-forward.

Drew Barrymore Embraces Color

Drew Barrymore’s outfit was playful, thanks to the splash of colors that defined her Milly skirt, which she paired with a black Zara top. It sorta looked like her daughters Olive and Frankie went nuts with fingerpaints while Mommy was getting dressed (but, like, in a cool way)!

Kerry Washington Channels Olivia Pope

Kerry Washington went with a sensible top and skirt, but in mixed prints and shades of gray. What working girl wouldn’t want to wear this to her office?

Gigi Hadid Opts For The Goddess Look

Gigi Hadid, Daily Front Row’s model of the year, has quickly become the toast of the modeling world. She looked the part in her goddess-y one-shouldered, figure-hugging, blush mermaid gown.
