It's been a slightly confusing few weeks for fans of the Bachelor. Though there's been the undeniable feeling of joy toward the knowledge that a new season of the reality series is finally with us, it's been coupled with potent feelings of grief and anguish at the news that pretty much coincided with The Bachelor 's season 19 premiere: Reports that seemingly solid Bachelorette couple, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, had called off their engagement only a few days ago. Since confirming the split, Dorfman has understandably remained fairly quiet on social media, but thankfully, it looks like she has good support systems to help her through this time: In a new post on her Instagram, Andi Dorfman broke her silence about the break-up, and with a very inspirational message at that.
The message was in the form of a photo, which read: "It's family and friends who pick us up when we fall down, and if they can't pick us up, they lie down next to us and just listen and love." So sweet.
Dorfman and Murray confirmed the shocking news of their split with a statement (released only one day after they appeared very much together on The Bachelor season 19's red carpet — making it all the more shocking) released on Jan. 8. In it, they explained the decision was amicable, and that they intended to remain friends — so, as far as break-ups go, at least it was far from messy.
