Another Cosby Accuser Steps Forward

by Allyson Koerner

It's shocking how many women continue to step forward with claims against Bill Cosby, but one accuser is taking things a step further. In December, model Chloe Goins accused Bill Cosby of drugging and molesting her at the Playboy Mansion six years ago. And now, as her lawyer told The Hollywood Reporter, she has spoken with the police. With help from her attorney Spencer Kuvin, she filed a report with the Los Angeles Police HQ on Wednesday morning.

Per Kuvin, who spoke with THR,

[His client] just finished giving a statement to police. It's in their hands now.

In December 2014, Goins spoke with the Daily Mail about her encounter with Cosby. When she was 18, Goins was at a Playboy Mansion party, where Hugh Hefner introduced her to Cosby. When she first met him, Goins said Cosby was a "really nice guy, really funny." Soon after meeting him, she had a drink. She explained,

I wasn't really supposed to drink because of my age but I was like, "okay, cool." I thought I'd got a drink on the side. I remember the drink being kind of strong but it didn't taste funny or anything like that. I think I finished most of it, I didn't set my glass down I was holding it the whole time.

Soon after, Goins says she felt "dizzy" and things went "foggy." Reportedly, Hefner offered Goins the use of one his bedrooms so she could rest, then Cosby "offered to show [her] the room." She says the last thing she remembered was having Cosby's arm around her, but she can't remember entering the room. Goins claims when she woke up she was completely naked and found Cosby sucking her toes and masturbating. Immediately, Cosby pulled up his pants and ran out of the room.

Goins also opened up about why she didn't report the alleged sexual assault,

We were young, we wanted to be Playboy models. I was scared about saying anything about what happened, especially as it was at the Playboy mansion because it's known for naughty stuff. I didn't want to get in trouble and maybe ruin my modeling career and nor did my friend as she was getting the invites to the parties. Bill Cosby was on TV and had a family man image, I thought to hurt that, he would come after me, try to ruin me.

Goins stepped forward, because she feels like Cosby needs to "pay" for what he's allegedly done to all of these women. As she said,

This isn't something I really wanted out there about myself, but I saw all the women who had come forward, over 20 women and it grossed me out. I feel he needs to pay for it, he deserves to pay for it. Unlike many of those women, I don't think he raped me so I am one of the lucky ones, but at the same time it was a f***ed up situation.

It remains unclear if Cosby will be investigated based on these allegations. THR reached out to Cosby's lawyer for a statement, but they did not receive a response.

According to the official statement released by Cosby's attorney released back in November, the claims are untrue:

Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.
