Jennifer Love Hewitt Is Having the Best Year Ever

Jennifer Love Hewitt isn't one of those celebrities that's largely in the public eye unless, well, you're already a fan. The famed Ghost Whisperer has done everything from cameo in Tropic Thunder to become the latest agent on Criminal Minds, but now she's announced that she's going to kick 2015 off right. Or, rather, I should say that she's confirmed that she should, in fact, be the latest celebrity on Baby Watch. That's right: Hewitt is pregnant with her second child with husband Brian Hallisay.

“Jennifer and Brian are thrilled to be expecting their second child,” said her representative in a statement. The child, of mysterious gender at the moment, is slated to arrive in the family some time later this year. The new baby Hewitt-Hallisay will be joining older sister Autumn James, who was born five days after Hewitt and Hallisay secretly got married in 2013. Now the happy couple are old pros, both at the whole marriage thing and at the whole parenting thing, so it's great to know that their family is about to expand to include more children and more love.

I mean, given the name of their first child, I'm already hoping that a second child for the couple will be named either Summer or, say, September, thus joining in some kind of reoccurring naming theme — but as far as celebrity baby names go, Autumn isn't that unusual. The Hewitt-Hallisays seem like a very low-key family, so their second child probably won't fall into the typical bizarre celebrity baby-naming conventions. Not everyone can be a Blue Ivy or a North West, you know? Either way, congratulations are in order for the happy couple.
