Nina Dobrev Is Dating Another TV Star

Sorry, Vampire Diaries fans: "Delena" is getting further and further from being a real-life thing. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split this past May, and so far, they're showing no signs of reconciliation. In fact, it seems the former at least is officially moving on with her life: Nina Dobrev is reportedly dating Derek Hough now. Apparently, her type is piercing blue eyes and alarming jaw lines.

A few months after the split with Somerhalder — whom she dated for three years — Dobrev told Us Weekly that she was in no big hurry to find herself in a committed romantic relationship again.

I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point, so I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again. I'm just discovering different sides of me and growing and then I'll figure out what I like in a man when I see it.

It makes sense; she's only 24, and three years is a long time for a person of that age to be in a relationship, especially with someone over 10 years their senior.

It appears she's now ready to start dating again: Dancing With the Stars' Derek Hough, specifically. She's good friends with Derek's younger sister, Julianne Hough, who introduced them. According to reports, the two have fallen really hard for each other.

As for Somerhalder... well, we heard Julianne is single now.
