According to the list, Minaj ranks No. 4 overall in hip-hop, with $29 million earned in 2013. Diddy took the top spot with his $50 million earned, Jay-Z at No. 2 with $43 million, and Dr. Dre at No. 3 with $40 million. Minaj's success this past year is credited mostly to her stint on American Idol, as well as various endorsements. Minaj is also considered somewhat of a "figurehead" for female rappers, and is often featured as the single woman in an ensemble rap song dominated by male rappers. It's also worth noting that Minaj is the only female on this list entirely, which consists of 27 hip-hop artists total.
Now, secondly — another way Nicki Minaj is killing it this year. In addition to dominating the hip-hop game, she has, apparently, created a new kind of boob. You know how there's the sideboob, and the underboob, and then cleavage? What do we call this one?
