Lamar's Twitter Rant Is Very Confusing

I can't decide if I hope this is all being captured by the watchful, omnipresent E! cameras or if I don't, but either way, this bizarre Lamar Odom drama keeps getting more and more interesting. And by interesting I mean super depressing. The NBA star and husband of Khloe Kardashian finally broke his silence after "going missing," fielding allegations of rampant crack use, and getting charged with a DUI. Lamar Odom lashed out at his father on Twitter (where else), and used the social media platform to defended his one true family, the Kardashians.

While all of us were sitting around blaming Kris Jenner for Odom's problems (just me? I mean, I'm pretty sure she pulls all the strings behind TMZ and may or may not have used the site to spin negative stories about Odom), turns out, Odom's sitting around blaming his absentee father. He wrote, "Seeing the snakes," then expanded in a long form tweet:

Won't continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of shit. He wasn't there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me. For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY.

Whoa. At a time when anyone who's been keeping up with the Kardashians knows the rumors that Jenner is trying to encourage Khloe to divorce Odom, it feels weird that he's defending them. Very weird. He continued about his dad:

That man wasn't even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own "son". He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return.

By the way, this rant about his father comes on the heels of an interview his dad gave Radaronline. Joe Odom told the gossip site that Khloe was "the worst mistake" his son ever made; he went on to call Kris Jenner an "evil bitch" and Kim Kardashian a "porn star."

Lamar Odom had more to say about his in-laws:

They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time. Only person 2 blame is myself. Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this! This goes to out to everyone!

I find it hard to believe that the Kardashians have been the ones supporting and protecting him through this "dark time," anyone else? If they were so concerned, I feel like it would be more obvious. Nothing about what that family does is subtle... their private lives are so public that it's difficult to imagine they're supporting Odom behind closed doors. Wouldn't their worry be more apparent?

But! Hey. As long as Kris Jenner wasn't standing over her son-in-law as he wrote that tweet, poking him in the back with the Laker's championship trophy, then I guess we gotta just accept that the Kardashians do, indeed, have Odom's best interests in mind.
