If you were still trying to figure out what to be for Halloween — or just not too married to your plans to ironically be "Sassy Rick Grimes," I don't know what you're all about — then here's a potential idea. Apparently, in a bid to capitalize off of Miley Cyrus' "controversial" MTV VMAs performance in which she twerked her lil' heart out on Robin Thicke's misogynistic crotch, a company has put together a Miley Cyrus-at-the-VMAs-inspired costume for those with a proclivity for sticking their tongue out this Halloween.
Titled "Twerk Out," the costume seems to look a lot like Cyrus' outfit in the beginning of her VMAs performance, which is when she was dancing with gigantic stuffed bears to "We Can't Stop," or something. Ugh, I don't even know, it was all weird and it really creeps me out. Some people (hipsters) will probably get a kick out of this costume, though, because it's timely and stuff. It's been weeks, and people still haven't stopped talking about it, so there's probably something to the whole business idea of putting a product like this out when articles are still being published about it.
For the record: If you're too cheap to shell out the cash for this (and actually want to be Miley Cyrus for Halloween THAT BADLY and not, you know, Sexy Ron Burgundy), Gothamist points out this tutorial of how to make a DIY Miley Cyrus costume. Click it if you want, I won't judge that much.
