In case you needed any more proof that a) Justin Timberlake is a wonderful, talented human being and b) that BBC Radio 1's live lounge is a magical, amazing place, here you go: This is PROOF. Justin Timberlake headed to the live lounge recently to perform a cover of the Jacksons' "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)," and it was even better than anyone could ever imagine. Like, if you've every thought, "hmm, Justin Timberlake should cover the Jackson 5 because I think he'd totally do a really, really good job," it's BETTER THAN THAT.
BBC Radio 1's live lounge has a history of booking great artists to perform covers of songs you'd never expect them to — see Jared Leto's cover of Rihanna's "Stay," and Kings of Leon's cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" — but Timberlake's performance here is really on another level. Not only are his vocals flawless (homeboy's got that soul/funk music DOWN), but the energy is amazing, the band is pretty epic, and the dance moves really don't disappoint one bit. JT the musician is truly back, and definitely better than ever.
