A Look at Kardashian Christmas Cards Past

Despite the many holiday traditions my parents created for me growing up, one of my favorites has always belonged to another family: the Kardashians. Every year, I look forward to the always epic, super classy Kardashian family Christmas photo, and that means this year I was really disappointed. In case you haven't noticed yet, there is no Kardashian Christmas photo this year. Nothing terrible happened, it just... didn't happen. And once I was able to get over my extreme heartbreak from the situation, I had so many questions. Number one: why is there no Kardashian Christmas photo this year?

Although most of the family has stayed pretty quiet on the matter, Kim didn't mind disclosing the actual reason behind their decision to skip out on that particular tradition this year, and unfortunately, it's not even a good one. Surprisingly enough, there's no drama here — not even anything about Kanye West refusing to be part of the picture. Kim laid out the truth in Glamour UK, and I'm still bummed about it:

I think this is the first year that we’re not doing our card, but... at our Christmas party we have this amazing photo booth so we’re going to do like a compilation and do a New Year’s card... So that’s kind of what we came up with, but we’re kind of sad, we just couldn’t get it together. And where is everyone? Y’know, this one doesn’t want to be in it, this one does want to be in it, so who knows.

But since there's no new card this year, that just means we have to relive the old ones. And there are plenty of them.

This one is one of their classiest — and how adorable is Mason? Unfortunately, Lamar is in this photo, and it makes me uncomfortable.

This is the 2012 Christmas card, and it's definitely one of my favorites. Penelope makes her first appearance, and she's incredibly precious. Unfortunately, Lamar is in this one too. Ugh. Get out of my sight.

This one was way over-the-top, absolutely ridiculous, and made no sense whatsoever. There is nothing Christmas about this photo. However, I still find myself wanting to be a part of it.

Christmas with Rafael? Who could turn down an opportunity like that? P.S. If you tell me this isn't your favorite Kardashian family Christmas photo, you're lying.

I don't know what I love more about this photo: the fact that everyone is wearing a tie, or Santa inexplicably wearing sunglasses.

Kylie. In. That. Dress. SO ADORABLE. I am dying.
