This news isn't particularly surprising — in fact, it's one of those reports that's really just like OF COURSE — but in case you needed confirmation that Beyoncé and Jay Z were the king and queen of everything, here it is anyway: According to Forbes, Beyoncé and Jay Z have topped the list of highest-earning celebrity couples, having made an estimated $95 million between June 2012 and June 2013.
This puts them way ahead of the number two couple, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, who collectively made $80 million in the past year, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who came in at number three with $50 million earned.
Forbes doesn't directly attribute their success to the fact that Beyoncé is the queen of everything and Jay Z is a legend, but they do point out that both are artists at the top of their industry and Jay Z's Watch the Throne with Kanye West earned him about $1.4 million per night last year.
As for Kanye — he actually made the list as well, at number five with girlfriend Kim Kardashian. The two of them reportedly earned $30 million in the last year, which puts them just below number four celebrity couple, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who earned $35 million.
