Watch Shaq Work His Magic With An Easy Bake Oven

You probably haven't thought about that old Easy Bake Oven of yours in years, but apparently, it's still very much a thing — at least, it is for one former basketball star. Retired NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal uses an Easy Bake Oven to show off his mad baking skills, and you better believe Shaq's little baking adventure is all caught on camera. That's right — we can watch O'Neal whip up a miniature bread pudding and some dainty tea cakes using the tiny lightbulb-powered appliance in this hilarious video (which is actually also kind of adorable), via Mashable. To be honest, it's pretty charming, and it's all for a good cause, because (spoiler alert) the video actually serves as promo for Toys for Tots, a program run by the U.S. Marine Reserve Corps which distributes holiday gifts to literally millions of underprivileged children each year. Good on you, Shaq.

To be fair, the basketball star really does seem to know how to use that thing — and hey! Perhaps Shaq's efforts will help to dispel the female stereotype associated with baking. These days, the now-iconic toy comes in a new Easy Bake Ultimate Oven version, with a cool revamped purple or black exterior (although it looks like O'Neal decided to go old school and use the little pink box we all remember from our childhoods). Who knows? Maybe we'll (refreshingly) see more boys taking Shaq's lead and asking for an Easy Bake this year. Check out the full video from Mashable:
