The Kylie Jenner Hair Color Saga of 2014, Because "A Little Grey Never Hurt Nobody"
While Kylie Jenner's lip color stayed basically the same all year (although her lips have arguably gotten bigger), her hair was put to work. In fact, Jenner's hair might've changed more times this year than we saw Rihanna's nipples. That's a lot, guys. Jenner experimented with color on her lobbed hair during the first half of the year; blue was definitely a crowd-pleaser. And after announcing her hair extension line, Kylie Hair Kouture, toward the end of the year, Jenner cycled through some familiar hues and even introduced a new one on her longer locks. Split Black & Blonde
Kylizzle dipped her toes in the world of funky coloring by hiding some blonde on the bottom layer of her hair.

And then began her “signature” ombré. The not-so-subtle color change totally works for her.
Brown & Blue Stripes
But blonde was apparently just not enough edge. In came the blue streaks. Real talk though, this look is so dated. It’s a good thing her hair didn’t stay this way for long.

Black & Light Blue
And thank goodness she decided the blue would work better in this ombré style. The white-blonde that shows through also works well with her growing edginess.

Yes, this one is a subtle change, but Jenner did try deepening the blue tips for a nice, even teal color.

While she still rocks the pitch-black hair (honestly, Kylie would probably look good with any hair color and style), paired with how she likes to do her makeup, it ages her. (She’s only 17, after all.) Bring back the color!
Long & Black & Blue
And she did. When Jenner came out with her line of hair extensions, one of the first she showed off were ones that brought back her beloved black & blue hair…

I suppose after checking off the long versions of her blue and blonde tips, she had to go for all black. Maybe it’s easier for her to maintain, but here’s hoping Kylie switches things up again come 2015.
